Sherlock Holmes was hard to miss, even in a city full of heroes and other supposedly super people. And Lestrade still knows few enough of them that just spotting him travelling down the other side of the street is enough to make him subtly speed up to join the detective.
He might be an arrogant sod at times, but company is company and Greg doesn't need to get to the shops that quickly.
He falls in step with him, not bothering with hello or anything so boring as that. "You off anywhere interesting?"
